Jerry is a lifelong resident of the south King County area. He graduated from Foster High school in Tukwila, Washington, in 1966. He graduated from North West University in 1985 with a Pastoral Degree. He has been an ordained minister for over twenty years. Jerry served as a senior pastor at two different churches in the south King County area. He is currently licensed and ordained with The Fellowship of Christian Assemblies. Other churches within the organization include The Philadelphia Church in north Seattle as well as The Church by the Side of the Road in Sea-Tac, Washington. Jerry is an experienced counselor with years of practical application. He and his wife Jan have been married since 1971, and have three grown sons. While their sons were growing up, Jerry coached many of their sporting teams including baseball, football and track. Their youngest son is a pastor in the Puget Sound area. Prior to becoming a minister, Jerry was a successful homebuilder, where he dealt with all aspects of the building trade.

Jan is a lifelong resident of South King County. She is a 1966 graduate of Mt. Rainier High School in Des Moines, Washington. Jan retired from the insurance industry after a long career as an agent and training coordinator. Jan created and oversaw the training for all agents and customer service personnel. Jan also developed the customer service training course that was adopted by Qwest and several other companies. Jan has also worked at a local Crisis Center as a senior counselor and at one point was asked to be the area director. For years Jan was a competitive racer in local 10K races in her age group.

Diane can be found serving at almost every His Ministry meal. She was born in Auburn, Washington and is a graduate of Auburn High School. Diane retired from the Boeing Company after a career that involved working with customers from all over the world, in the Boeing Customer Training Center. She was also a member of the Recognition Committee that rewarded outstanding employees. She also served on the Safety Committee. Diane has a heart for people and helping those in need. She has been involved with His Ministry since the beginning, and has been a board member since 2008.

Katherine is a retired homemaker and has been very active in local Women’s ministry. For 15 years, she served on the local and area boards for Aglow International. She and her late husband, Richard, were heavily involved with Marriage Encounter and counseled many couples over the years. Katherine has been a Board member since 1999.
Dennis Brooke

Dennis is a Christian writer and speaker who served as an Air Force officer for seven years. He currently manages a software development group for a local aviation services company. Dennis and his wife teach marriage prep classes for engaged couples at their church and he also serves on the board of the local Christian writers association. He has been volunteering with His Ministries since 2008 and joined the board in 2009.
